Cynthia Samuels has always had a passion for health and wellness. She wanted to find a way to foster that love through a livelihood of her very own. Cynthia finally had the answer upon noticing a need for added service connecting locals and tourists with nature. Her new business venture, Eagle Talon Adventures, was equally born out of the desire to inspire outdoor play and exploration. For Cynthia, health and wellness are synonymous with outdoor recreation.
As a new entrepreneur, the Eagle Talon owner has quickly become aware of the impact that small businesses have made for the communities in Haida Gwaii. The positive atmosphere of the entire island can greatly be attributed to the extensive network of fellow business owners that band together in solidarity. It’s like one big happy family, and the shop-local sentiment certainly supports the cohesiveness that residents experience.
With Eagle Talon Adventures just taking off, Cynthia expects to be busy, but always plans to prioritize a little adventure time of her own. When the stars align, this savvy business woman will be hitting the many magnificent beaches or getting a little rowdy while off-roading.
