Meet Manager Brittany Grosse
Brittany loves living on scenic Haida Gwaii and appreciates how easy it is to get around. She likes working in Masset because "everybody knows everybody." Brittany is the manager of the Northern Haida Gwaii Visitor Centre, where she greets tourists and provides helpful guidance on their travel options. She likes that the small town enables for a more intimate connection with both the travelling public and the locals. "You get to know people on a more personal level," Brittany explained. During her days off, she likes to walk around town and enjoys going to the beach. She recommends tourists check out the Blow Hole - an amazing natural rock feature in Naikoon Provincial Park.
Brittany points out that the small businesses in Masset seem to be thriving. She is optimistic about the future of Masset and Haida Gwaii as she has noticed that every year the tourist season seems to be starting earlier and ending later in the season.
