Judy, has been in the health care industry for over thirty years . She is a semi-retired nurse .
Richard has been an entrepreneur for most of his adult life. He has worked many years as a Custodian and also as a Commissionaire.
Judy and Richard wanted to be involved with Love Haida Gwaii because of the sense of community it imparts. They warmly welcome you to McIntyre Bay Hydaway Accommodations and hope you enjoy your experience on your island getaway.
The entrepreneurial pair feels it is important to maximize their positive influence as a small business owners by treading lightly amongst the environment. “We need to be mindful of our impacts and we should step gently by being eco-friendly when possible, leaving a light footprint behind,” shares Judy. Haida Gwaii depends on the mindfulness of all residents and visitors to ensure it remains pristine.
