Meet Herb Riddall
Meet Herb Riddall
Herb Riddall is a hard working Haida Gwaii resident with his heart and soul invested in the community. As an avid entrepreneur who has his hand in a few ventures throughout Masset, he feels it's important to find avenues of work that support the local economy. His business Haida Raven Gallery provides local artists with the opportunity to continue working even during the slower tourist season as artwork is purchased all throughout the year. Haida art has always inspired the gallery owner, and with such talented carvers residing in his hometown, it only made sense to promote their creative gifts.
For Herb and his wife, living in Haida Gwaii fosters a sense of contentment beyond any measure. He has always enjoyed the area's monumental beach-combing and off-roading adventures within reach at every turn. “I love island life and the freedom here,” declares Herb.
