When Sharon Gawryluk first opened her reflexology practice in 2015, she was delighted to find the people of Mackenzie open, receptive and welcoming of the new business. It didn’t take her long to build up a client base since word typically travels fast in a small town like Mackenzie. “It’s very rewarding for me to see people getting results and often quite quickly,” Sharon says. “They are just overjoyed to tell others what benefits they received from their reflexology sessions."

Sharon has a true passion for health care, and often it is not just about providing a particular health service. Sharon says, “I have created a space where people can come and completely relax and de-stress." Sharon is gratified to play a role in people’s health and wellness. It gives her a sense of satisfaction when she works with a client over a series of treatments and watches them transform, with regards to certain areas of their health. Sharon has also been studying to become an herbalist for the past year and half and has created her own line of natural wellness products, at Pure Creams and Lotions. There are face cleansers, face creams, body lotions and much more! Sharon believes in keeping her prices affordable so everyone can purchase products they can feel good about using on themselves and their family. According to Sharon, Mackenzie is an ideal place for the pursuit of wellness. With so much natural playground, there is no shortage of ways to get and stay active, no matter what your passion. “Morfee Lake is right in our backyards, and Little Mac Ski Hill is great for beginners… so amazing.” Sharon likes to get out fishing or biking with her husband and gardens in the summer time.
