Meet David Johnston
David Johnston is a true coaster. He lives for the rain, the sea and the sky. His early years were spent tramping around Vancouver Island. Later in life he fell in love with the northern coast of British Columbia.
“Kitimat is like no where else on earth. You’ll never explore every trail in a lifetime,” David expressed. “It’s gorgeous here!” Kitimat will always be home and David loves the genuine nature of Kitimat’s residents. It’s a real working class community, where everyone finds common ground and has each other’s backs.
As an active guy himself, David really appreciates all that his town has to offer. What more could you ask for? Fishing, hiking, sports teams - Kitimat has it all and then some.
David found that after years of working in the construction and camp industries that it was time for a change of pace. He shifted his focus onto his drive for entrepreneurship. David noticed a need for gym solution services throughout the region and in 2016, he incorporated his first business, Longevity in Motion Corp. Demand for his services quickly grew during his first year, so much so that David needed to take on additional employees.
In the near future, David is looking forward to investing his time by giving back. Multiple Sclerosis has hit close to home and he feels compelled to support the cause and help find a cure. Keep an eye out for David during the MS Walk campains.
