Meet Mark Zagwyn
Mark Zagwyn was always hobby photographer but didn't have much time to devote to it when he was working. After he retired he decided to pursue his photography passion and now finds himself working again, but in a job that's more like fun than work. According to Mark, making photography a business was really more about finding a way to fund his photography habit, but he admits that being a professional photographer gives him lots of opportunities to travel and meet a variety of people. "I get to know many different people from all walks of life," says Mark, and he always enjoys sitting down with someone new over a cup of coffee to share ideas.
Living in Topley and working mainly in the Houston area is a lifestyle that agrees with Mark. As a nature lover he's able to find endless photo opportunities in the area. He likes the fact that everyone knows everyone, something that helps him in his business because people tell their friends about his work. His photography ventures regularly take him throughout the region including into Hazelton, out to Fraser Lake, Granisle, Francois Lake and all the areas in between.
While he is rarely far from his camera, Mark likes to indulge in some other outdoor activities when he's able. He is particularly fond of hiking, fishing and hunting.
