Lee’s Garden has been spicing up the town of Houston for nearly three decades with its tantalizing food offerings. Lee’s Garden is a very popular Chinese restaurant in northern BC and the restaurant has a long list of local fans, some of whom have been coming in since the restaurant first opened. Guests can choose from a variety of Chinese and Western dishes, as well as a number of vegetarian and gluten free dishes. Lee’s Garden is open for lunch and dinner, six days per week.

Meet Chau Ly
Chau Ly's independent streak and drive to succeed are just a couple of the things that have kept Lee's Garden in business for 26 years. Working for herself, says Chau, gives her sense of satisfaction and she appreciates the flexibility that goes with it. Another source of pride for Chau is the food that the restaurant serves. It is one of only a handful of Szechuan Chinese restaurants in Northern BC, and the food, Chau adds, is like none served anywhere else. It makes her day when guests comment about how much they enjoy the food and when they recommend Lee's Garden to others. Chau tries to pay the love forward whenever she can and often donates to local schools, clubs and organizations when they have events and fundraisers.
Chau chose Houston as home many years ago for its peace and tranquility. She appreciates the quiet and the abundance of natural beauty. She is also grateful for the friendly people that live in Houston, many of whom she has gotten to know throughout the years as guests in the restaurant. She also notes that Houston is a safe, wonderful place to raise a family.
These days Chau keeps very busy at work, since the restaurant is open six days per week. If she manages to steal a few rare hours of down time, Chau enjoys bowling, watching movies in the theatre and going for walks.
