Meet Vicky Goldman
Vicky Goldman has been an entrepreneur in various businesses over the years before purchasing the Bearspaw Inn & Suites. She sensed a northern BC boom coming in the next five years and wanted to be a part of the growth that is sure to ensue. They already feel warmly embraced by the community of Houston. Here, she says, "you are a person, not a number," and Vicky strives to carry this philosophy into her business.
Being her own boss allows her to treat her guests the way people deserve to be treated in the hospitality industry. She is proud of the warm, attentive service she provides for her guests and her ability to offer so many perks at a reasonable, competitive price. She also appreciates the ability that business ownership gives her to be creative and to express her unique style.
Besides the small town hospitality that prevails in Houston, Vicky also loves the fact that it's quiet and they never have to contend with traffic. The abundant wildlife and clean mountain air is hard to beat too. With great hunting, fishing and outdoor opportunities going for it along with gracious, neighbourly residents, Vicky is excited about the future of her business and the potential for growth for Houston as a whole.
