Jamee started YAFI Fitness For All in 2008 and offers group classes, buddy challenge routines and corporate classes where Jamee comes to your workplace. As a personal trainer, Jamee also conducts individualized one-on-one lessons too. “My goal is to reach the people that are looking for fun, creative ways to meet their fitness goals while enjoying an alternative atmosphere or people who are starting over after being away from fitness for awhile,” said Jamee. Participants work out with others at their similar fitness level so no one feels intimidated. Jamee prides herself on a welcoming and personable atmosphere at her classes.

YAFI Fitness For All classes lead with beginner and intermediate routines. Modifications are available for those with injury or physical limitations or those who are ready for more challenging options. “Participants are encouraged to work at their own level and I support and promote pushing past your comfort zone,” said Jamee. Lessons include warm up, work out with a 15 minute “bums and tums” routine and stretch. “I’m really proud of the custom fitness routines I have created,” said Jamee. YAFI Fitness For All is about getting people moving and healthy in a fun and supportive atmosphere.

Jamee is relatively new to Fort St. John and loves living and working in the community. "People seem very supportive and invested in their community," noted Jamee. "and there are so many people who love accessing all of the great outdoor recreation facilities available in Fort St. John," said Jamee. She also loves the variety of arts and entertainment venue that her community has.

Jamee believes in what she is doing with her business, You Asked For It (YAFI) Fitness For All. "I love the effect my fitness programs have on my clients," said Jamee, "I like to help people get moving and get healthy."
