Ferris Fast Cycles
After operating a successful storefront in Fort St. John for years, Patrick decided to scale down his business last November and closed the Ferris Fast Cycles retail location. But the business didn’t completely end there. Patrick, who is very proud of Ferris Fast Cycles’ positive reputation, decided to continue with the bicycle repair business on a smaller scale, out of his home by appointment. “I have semi-retired but I do want to continue to be an entrepreneur because I know I can give the customer a very good service,” said Patrick. With 18 years of bicycle repair experience, Ferris Fast Cycles now offers bicycle repair by appointment.
Ferris Fast Cycles bicycle repair stocks basic parts, tires, tubes and clothing. This home based business is not a retail business but a repair service. Customers will be satisfied with Patrick’s knowledge of bicycle repair and his high quality of service.

Patrick has an intimate relationship with Fort St. John. He and his wife Patricia have happily called the community home for years and have made many lasting friendships. They find Fort St. John a dynamic and versatile town. One of the hidden gems is the Fort St. John North Peace Museum. "The museum represents our city and our regional heritage," said Patrick. Patrick recommends getting connected with our past by visiting the museum or following his hobby Facebook page - Heritage Buildings of the North Peace, where people share photos and memories.
Patrick and Patricia feel very hopeful about the future of small business. They know the importance of supporting the smaller locally owned and operated businesses in Fort St. John and enjoy frequenting the Canadian Grind, Whole Wheat and Honey and the Diner on 93rd. Patrick and Patricia enjoy having some additional free time as they have recently moved into semi-retirement.
Patrick also enjoys writing novels and has written two books, Gypsies and The Gypsy Engagement. Feel free to contact Patrick to learn more or to obtain copies of his novels.
