Meet Stephen & Amy Beard
There’s no denying it- the Beard family are fully invested in their hometown of Fort St. John. They are absolutely smitten with their close-knit community and the youthful energy of their fellow residents. The area is chock-full of amenities and outdoor activities to suit all ages- it’s truly the perfect place to raise a family or start a business.
And that’s exactly what Stephen and Amy Beard did. They started with a dream- a vision and built up an empire that satisfies their need for creativity and autonomy. As parents, it is important to the Beards that their children witness the entrepreneurial process right from start-up. “Dreams can happen here and we believe that anything is possible,” shares Stephen. “There is hard work and it isn’t always easy, but it’s worth it.”
Much of the success the brewery has seen can be attributed to fellow entrepreneurs and loyal customers. It is their continued support that has allowed the Beards to grow into a pillar for the community- and they hope to do so for the long haul. As a way to share the love, Stephen and Amy are proud to showcase many other small businesses. “We are in this together, and together we are stronger,” states the Beard’s Brewing Co-owner.
