Meet Murray Ridge Board of Directors
The Murray Ridge Ski Area was opened in the 1970's thanks to the dedicated efforts of a grassroots group of ski enthusiasts. It is one of just a handful of BC ski resorts that are society-owned and run, and is a shining testament to the hard work of the many volunteers throughout the decades who longed to bring skiing to families in the Fort St. James region. Today, the Murray Ridge Ski Area is still run by a non-profit society made up of volunteers and governed by a board of volunteers who live right in the Fort St. James community and region. The society is passionate about making skiing accessible, available and affordable to all Fort St. James residents while providing great family recreation and a chance to be active in the great winter outdoors.
