Meet Tracy Heartt, Terri Murphy, Kirsti Lafond & Cassandra Smith

One of the advantages of owning a small town wellness practice, according to Tracy Heartt, is the ability to develop real relationships with clients. It is rewarding for Tracy to bump into her clients around town and see the progress that they've made with their health since their treatment at the clinic. "We have formed long standing relationships as a result," Tracy says.

Tracy is registered with the Remedial Massage Therapists Association of Alberta and is also a Certified Advanced Practitioner of (NST) Neurostructural Integration Therapy and the only NST teacher in all of Canada. Her staff members and fellow clinicians include massage professional Kirsti Lafond, Advanced Practitioner of NST Terri Murphy and Registered Holistic Nutritionist Cassandra Smith. The four use their complementary skills to provide patients with access to a comprehensive range of treatments and services that will help them achieve optimal health and wellness.

According to Tracy, Dawson Creek is an ideal place for a health and wellness practice because the people who live here have so much available to them when it comes to opportunities for physical activity. "We have the best outdoor recreation," Tracy says. Plus, it is a safe place for children to go outside and run around and play. "Our outdoor green spaces...the parks, the walking paths, the outdoor pool, it allows us to get out and re-connect to what is important."
