Meet Rayana McCrae

Originally founded in 1991 by Raymond McKelvie, The North Road Trading Post was turned over in 2015 to Raymond's nephew James McCrae; who took over the family business with assistance from his mother, Raymond’s sister, Rayana McCrae.

Rayana had been living in the Lower Mainland and was inspired by the quaint lifestyle and connectedness to nature that small, northern communities are blessed with. For her it is an exciting new adventure as The Village of Clinton is an Antique Collectibles Destination with a unique variety of shops which entices visitors worldwide. Visitors are warmly welcomed in every shop spreading the word for more shopping and fun, which is very appealing to her.

Rayana is a spiritual woman with strong beliefs, as a natural nutritionist and herbalist, her quest for health and happiness lead her to the peacefulness and friendliness of Clinton. Gardening is another passion for the entrepreneur, along with photography, writing and decorating. “I am blessed with my faith, a special family, friends, and an new exciting challenging career I enjoy,” says The Trading Post manager “I love learning and celebrating life at all stages". Most importantly, Rayana loves working with her son, James, and her daughter, Cynthia.
