Outdoor Adventures has been a part of the Burns Lake community for more than three decades. Newest owners Katie and Darrell Lambert are proud to carry on the tradition of serving outdoor adventurers in a place where the potential for adventure is never-ending.
Outdoor Adventures carries a wide variety of products and brand names. Whatever your “thing,” Outdoor Adventures will set you up with the gear you need, from brands like STIHL, Choko, Yamalube, Bell, CKX, Spy, Interstate Batteries and Fox. Outdoor Adventures even carries paintball supplies for the outdoor warrior.
Outdoor Adventures is a member of the Burns Lake and District Chamber of Commerce.

Meet Darrell and Katie Lambert
Avid outdoor adventurers Darrell and Katie Lambert knew Outdoor Adventures well and didn't want to see it disappear from the community when its former owners decided to move on. So the Lamberts bought it in early 2014 and are excited to be able to continue offering such valuable products and services to all of the outdoor adventurers in Burns Lake.
Katie and Darrell decided to become entrepreneurs because they wanted to have more control over their own time and family life. For the Lamberts, family life involves a lot of outdoor activities. Darrell especially enjoys snowmobiling in the mountains in the winter time. Katie loves four-wheeling: the muddier the better.
When it comes to being in business, Katie notes that "there is never a dull moment!" Every day is different from the one before, and each new day is a new learning experience. So far, Katie says, their customers have been very gracious and welcoming. But this is no surprise to the Lamberts, who chose Burns Lake living because residents are so supportive of one another, especially when in times of need.
