Jackson’s Social Club and Brew House
Welcome to the newest “nano” brewery in the Cariboo. Jackson’s Social Club and Brew House is a locally owned micro brewery specializing in small batch craft beers. These brews can be purchased as kegs, six-packs or purchase even refillable growlers.
Originally a gas station, the decor stays true to the history of the building, with even a car serving as the bar! This family friendly space is ideal for a variety of casual gatherings for groups of all sizes. For the non-beer drinkers, Jacksons still has a lot to offer with appies, cider, local wines and specialty coffees,
Make sure to stop in, refuel with a beverage and a smile. You can even play some shuffle board or bumper pool while enjoying a cold brew with friends.
Meet Keith Jackson
Meet Keith Jackson
Some people just have what it takes to succeed in business and one of those people is local entrepreneur, Keith Jackson.
No stranger to success, the industrialist already has a handful of companies under his belt and multitude of awards to his name. His last business, The Bicycle Tree Espresso Bar, has won seven business excellence awards alone.
“It's better than working,” he laughs, as he explains the benefits of being an entrepreneur. “It is just something that's inside you. It's having the vision of a finished product and figuring out how to get there. I’m doing what I want, the way I feel it should be done.”
Keith enjoys the people and affordability that 100 Mile offers. “People here let me be who I want to be,” he says. It’s a tight knit group of really cool people. It’s affordable and there is far less competition than in the city.” Keith is grateful to be able to contribute back into 100 Mile House. “I've been part of this community for 23 years,” he says. “Coaching sports, participating in the Farmer's Market and owning businesses.”
“We have a large seasonal population because of the outdoor recreational aspect of the area,” Keith says about the community’s influx. “People are beginning to realize the great things about 100 Mile. Camping, cabins, fishing it’s all here; it’s definitely growing.”
