Terry’s Lock & Security is Terrace’s commercial and residential security expert. Since 1994, Terry’s Lock & Security has been creating customized security systems for commercial and residential properties throughout the Terrace region. Using state-of-the-art technology, Terry’s Lock & Security is able to design, install, manage and support complex security systems with multiple keyholders and restricted access users so that you can maintain the level of security and access that is right for your business, property or home. Terry’s Lock & Security’s mobile shop allows for full service work on site in a timely manner. All work is performed by a journeyman locksmith with more than twenty years of industry experience.
Terry’s Lock & Security also provides key cutting and copying services in store as well as automotive microchip key production, including programming of your microchip with your vehicle’s security system. Guests will also find a wide variety of retail security and lock products inside the store, including locks, lock boxes, padlocks, key blanks and more to protect your home and property.

Meet Terry & Shannon Heinricks
Terry Heinricks has a knack for opening doors that most other people can't. It was this proclivity for locksmithing that lead him to his profession and, ultimately, to starting his own business. Terry is a journeyman locksmith and while he is responsible for all of the installations and other off-site work, his wife, Shannon Heinricks, runs the store. Their impeccable teamwork and passion for serving their customers is evident in the way they interact with the public and their attention to the quality of the work they do.
This is not to say that there haven't been challenges to business ownership, but the Heinricks truly love what they do and authentically care about Terrace. It is this fervour that continues to sustain them, and they feel confident and positive about the future of their business. Though many people see their business largely as a key-cutting shop, Shannon notes that that is just a very small part of what their business does. The bulk of their work consists of designing, installing and maintaining security systems for businesses and a few residential customers. Shannon notes that security is a big issue for businesses and she and Terry are proud to be able to help other businesses protect their assets so they can confidently continue to provide their own valuable services to the Terrace region.
Terry and Shannon are grateful for the lifestyle that Terrace living has provided for them over the years. They are thankful for the fact that it is a very affordable place to live and do business and that the economy is stable. Most of all, they are appreciative of the community feel and sense of care that locals have for one another. They also think that the lack of traffic is a nice side benefit to Terrace living.
