Inside the 5,000 square feet downtown store, customers will find a large and diverse selection of brand-name computers, printers, tablets, ink and toner plus computer and technology accessories.
Software Emporium also stocks the full Line of Xbox One and Playstation 4 Consoles, games and accessories. Software Emporium is Dawson Creek’s only Apple authorized dealer for iMacs, Macbook Pros, iPads, iPods, Apple TV’s, accessories and more. In addition to retail products, Software Emporium provides full computer IT services and repair, including network monitoring and maintenance.
Software Emporium is a member of the Dawson Creek Chamber of Commerce and the Dawson Creek Merchants Association. It has been the winner of the Best Computer Store award by The Mirror Block News for five consecutive years.

Computer use had begun to boom, and Software Emporium was born to be a part of an opportunity to fill a local niche. Software Emporium Inc started in 1995 with only two staff members. By the time they celebrated their 20th anniversary in 2015, Software Emporium had more than a dozen staff members and a strong community reputation.
Paul and Dan know that the technology market is a difficult one to compete in, especially when it comes to small, independent stores going up against big chains. However, the friends were confident in their ability to offer what their big box competitors could not: personalized and thoroughly knowledgeable service. They are extremely proud of their skilled and dedicated staff who have committed themselves to keeping up with the latest in technology and product information. “Our customers can count on us for sound advice, unbeatable selection, and top shelf service,” says Paul. He and Dan are deeply grateful to the people of Dawson Creek who have so generously supported the business over the years.
Not only has Dawson Creek been a great place to operate a business, it has been a wonderful place to live, too. Paul, who was born and raised here, is thankful for the lifestyle that is available in Dawson Creek. Affordable housing, fantastic scenery, endless recreational opportunities and a community of residents who authentically care for one another all contribute to making it an amazing town.
